Custom Designed Wedding Invitations

Ahhhhh....paper.  It's truly one of our favorite wedding details!  From the save the date to the invitation to the place card setting to the menu -- as well as the unexpected and nontraditional paper details, we just swoon for them all.  Over the past several years, we've had the privilege to work with the exceptionally talented Emily McCarthy to create custom, dream wedding invitations and paper details for our Spencer Special Events brides.  You won't find any of these at your local stationery shop or online, from start to finish they are completely unique to match the style, vision, and personality of the betrothed.

Emily McCarthy is a brand and paper stylist who designed for the retailer Swoozie's, started a line of stationery called Twist, and recently launched her online store (EmilyMcCarthy.com.)  According to Emily, the most important thing in designing custom wedding invitations is to stay true to your style and wedding vision.  She works with each bride and groom to make them perfect and Spencer Special Events will help you through every step of that process!

Stephen and Vicki's invitation was absolutely gorgeous and a real treat for the guest invited to their fall soiree!The rich color palette, beautiful Lowcountry details, and letterpress features were just stunning.

Here is a quick glance at Kara and Justin's May 2013 wedding.  The paper details were exquisite! (We cannot wait to share their complete wedding soon here on our blog.  It has been chosen to be featured by Inside Weddings (eek!))  

As you can see from napkins, menus, place cards, programs, save the dates, response cards, and invitations, each piece coordinates beautifully in one cohesive suite. We love seeing every time what Emily and her team comes up with next -- no two weddings are alike, which is exactly why we recommend Emily McCarthy to our discerning brides who want that completely custom look for all their wedding details.
